The following prices are based on 3 hours of recording time.

The location recording rates listed above may vary depending upon the recording situation. Variables such as a long distance to travel, time of concert, difficult recording environments, or interfacing with a venue's system will raise the cost of recording.

Recording Media Costs:

For many classical situations a mix straight to DAT (digital audio tape), is all that is necessary. If your situation is more complex multi-tracking may be needed.

For Multi-track recording we use adat tapes. Each tape can hold up to 8 tracks of audio and approximately 45 minutes of music. Example: If you need 16 tracks of audio and your concert is 60 minutes you would need 4 tapes (2 tapes for 16 tracks and 2 sets of tapes for having more than 45 minutes of music) If you need fewer or more tracks or time subtract or add accordingly.
